Househunting in England is a nightmare. I still cannot fathom what kind of places are actually offered for rent in this country. London was particularly bad but even where we live now I have not seen a single house yet that meets German standards. (Ok, one that comes closes to it. Which is, yes, where we live now.) So if you are currently househunting in England ... here is something to cheer you up. (I have not laughed that hard in quite some time.)
